Although our business name may sound casual, we are very serious when it comes to satisfying the needs of our customers. We take great pride in our work and it shows.

In 1987 what was originally a home-based hobby became FROGS Detailed Specialties. Locally owned and operated in Springfield, Missouri. The shop was originally located on East Trafficway. Owners Mel and Doug Dollarhide painted signs and vehicle graphics using brushes, lettering enamels and air-brushing techniques. As the business grew so did the need for more space. FROGS moved to their current location at 1753-A S.West Bypass in 1989.

Along with the new location came new technology and FROGS purchased their first computerized sign system. This new system was the beginning of a transition from the hand painted signs and graphics to the current method of using a vinyl media to create a more durable long lasting product.

For over two decades FROGS has upgraded it’s technology many times. In order to provide our customers with the best finished product available, we use state of the art, wide format ink jet technology as well as the latest in vinyl cutting equipment. Even with all of the new techniques available, in an effort to stay true to our roots, we still offer hand painted pin striping for your hot rods, bikes or family car.

Our customer base continues to grow daily. With that growth comes our sincere gratitude and a deep appreciation for those who entrusted us with their work and continue to be faithful patrons to this day.
